Some users can't add comments or attachments to tickets

Description

it would be great to be able to add comments, attach a file, etc. e.g: I reported ticket:23 and have a patch with a fix for it.

There is a change to get these features enabled?

Authenticated users have the TICKET_MODIFY permission, so (AFAIK) as long as you're logged in you should be able to edit and add comments to a ticket. Unfortunately I'm not much of a Trac expert. I'll try some tests to see if the same things happens for me.

I'm able to add comments. Perhaps it requires an e-mail authentication in your profile?

I just created an account. Before I responded to the email asking for email authentication, I was unable to add comments or attach files. As soon as I clicked the link to verify my email, I was able to add comments and attach files.

I had to delete my account, reregister and click the verification link again but can now add comments/attachements.

As daniel said, deleting and creating the account fixed the issue.

I'm going to resolve this. I don't know why what you did worked, but I didn't understand the problem anyway, so I'm taking the out. :)
